About RUPS

The RUPS (Regionaal Uitstapprogramma voor ProstitueeS) exit program for prostitutes is being implemented in the Zeeland, West en Midden Brabant region on commission by GGD Zeeland (national public health institute, Zeeland office). The exit program is part of a larger, nation-wide program and receives support from the Dutch Ministry of Security and Justice. GGD Zeeland has set up a project involving social work agencies, municipalities, the police and the GGD for the implementation of the RUPS program in the Zeeland, West en Midden Brabant region. If you want to contact the project organisers or want more information about the RUPS project, visit the GGD Zeeland website.

The exit program for prostitutes is being conducted throughout the Netherlands by various organisations. If you want to get in touch with an exit program outside of the Zeeland, West en Midden Brabant region, visit the SOA Aids Nederland website for contact info.
